The call 2026 for postdoctal, starting and team grant applications has been closed.
The call was opened in ETIS from February 27 to March 31. In total, 482 applications were submitted: 50 postdoctoral, 166 starting and 266 team grant applications.

NEW! The 2026 call will be conducted on the basis of the regulation of the Minister of Education and Research: “Specific conditions of and procedure for applying for and evaluating the application for national research funding and allocating and reclaiming the funding”. The Explanatory memorandum to the regulation can be found here. Please note, that these are translations from Estonian. In case of disputes, the Estonian text of the regulation (link to Riigi Teataja) shall prevail!

NB! The application process takes place in ETIS. The application is submitted only after the institution has confirmed it via ETIS.
PSG and PRG applications are evaluated by international Expert Panels. Postdoctoral grant applications are evaluated by a separate non field-specific expert panel consisting of Estonian experts. Click here to find more information about the Expert Panels.
