You are invited to two online events related to introduction of the Horizon Europe funding measures for Strengthening the European Research Area and finding partners:
1) 11 December at 10:30 (Estonian time) – An online Info Day of the Strengthening the European Research Area, where European Commission experts will present the 2026–2027 calls and offer the opportunity to ask questions.
More precisely, the topics of the WIDERA Work Programme section Destination: Reforming and enhancing the European research and innovation system will be introduced. This covers capacity building at the level of institutions and ecosystems.
The European Commission expects more actors in the research area to reform and develop their operations in line with the objectives set out in the Pact for Research and Innovation, thereby supporting the implementation of the ERA Policy Agenda (2025–2027).
The target audience includes universities, research organisations, funders, start-ups, research networks, publishers, public authorities, and others.
During the Info Day:
- An overview will be given of 13 call topics, most of which are Coordination and Support Actions (CSA), but some thematic Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) will also be funded.
- Topics covered: research careers, research ethics, knowledge valorisation, research assessment reform, open science, gender equality and inclusiveness, science-for-policy, citizen engagement, and more.
