Opening of call in LUKE partnership

Today, the call for proposals opened in the EU partnership LUKE, which is targeted at Ukraine. Applications can be submitted until 15 May. Proposals must be submitted through the PT-Outline portal: PT-Outline.

Each LUKE consortium must include at least three countries — Ukraine is mandatory, and in addition at least two other countries from among the participating states (Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, Türkiye, Ukraine).

Each country funds its own researchers, and the consortium budget is formed from the individual partners’ budgets. Estonian participants are funded by Estonian Research Council (the requested budget may be up to 150,000 euros for a regular partner and up to 300,000 euros for the lead partner/coordinator). If several Estonian partners participate in the same project, the corresponding budget is divided between them. Eligibility requirements for Estonian applicants can be found here.

Already next week, on 4 March from 11:00 to 12:00, a webinar will be held to introduce the call: “Connecting through LUKE: Introducing Joint Call and Website (CDE Event)”The event is intended for researchers, research administrators, and representatives of the innovation and business sectors. Participants are especially welcome from countries eligible for the call: Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine. Preliminary information: on 25 March, a central LUKE matchmaking event is planned.
