Save the date: 18.03 International Research Cooperation Conference Dedicated to Ukraine

The Estonian Research Council invites you to the international conference “International Research Cooperation – With Ukraine and For Ukraine”, which will take place at the Lydia Hotel Conference Centre in Tartu on 18 March, from 9:30 to 18:00. The conference can be followed online from 10:00 to 17:00.

The event is open to all researchers, research administrators, and policymakers interested in strengthening collaboration with Ukraine. It will provide an overview of current research collaboration and explore ways to deepen cooperation in the wider European context.

The opening session will highlight initiatives from Estonia, Ukraine, the EU, and the Nordic-Baltic region that support the integration of Ukrainian researchers into the European Research Area. Thematic sessions will showcase Ukraine-related activities and international research cooperation projects involving Estonia and Ukraine. The day will conclude with a panel discussion summarising the key issues raised during the sessions and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

The event will be held in English, and simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian will be provided for online participants.
