{"id":104020,"date":"2025-07-03T10:06:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T07:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etag2025.etag.ee\/funding\/closed-support-measures\/closed-programmes\/mobilitas-pluss-2015-2023\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T11:32:27","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T08:32:27","slug":"mobilitas-pluss","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/etag.ee\/en\/funding\/closed-support-measures\/closed-programmes\/mobilitas-pluss\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobilitas Pluss"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"classic-editor\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-el wp-block-paragraph\">Programme activities are carried out by the Estonian Research Council in accordance with Decree No. 481 of the Minister of Education and Research of 30 December 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\">It lays down the conditions for the provision of grants under the \u2018Internationalisation of research and support for mobility and the next generation\u2019 or Mobilitas Pluss programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\">The budget for Mobilitas Pluss is 35 373 770 euros, 83.5% of which is covered by the European Regional Development Fund.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-el\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"381\" height=\"312\" src=\"https:\/\/etag.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Mobilitas-EL_EN.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-103786\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The programme aims to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>improve the international visibility of Estonian research, business and higher education and Estonia\u2019s attractiveness as a destination country for study and research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthen the international competitiveness of Estonian researchers and research performing organisations, including companies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support opportunities for Estonian R&amp;D institutions and companies to collaborate with transnational research organisations and networks, including through synergy with Horizon 2020 actions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>expand international collaboration and professional development opportunities for the state, R&amp;D institutions, higher education institutions, companies, students and academic staff by improving intersectoral and international mobility and cooperation (opportunities).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Support provided under the Mobilitas Pluss programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li><strong>Mobilitas Pluss post-doctoral researcher grant<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 for the implementation of a research project by a researcher coming from abroad to Estonia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Returning researcher grant<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 for the implementation of a research project by a researcher returning to Estonia after completing post-doctoral or comparable research abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top researcher grant<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 for the implementation of a research project by a renowned researcher of international rank coming from abroad to Estonia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training events and study visits for researchers<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 support for a researcher working at a R&amp;D institution in Estonia to attend training events or study visits abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for applying for an ERC grant<\/strong>\u2013 for researchers working in Estonia whose ERC project application has made it to the second stage of evaluation, earning a mark of A or B, but have nevertheless not received affirmative funding decisions. This support may be used to proceed with the research project that was not funded in a closed ERC call for the preparation and submission of a new ERC grant application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Horizon 2020 ERA chair support<\/strong>\u2013 enables Estonian research and development institutions to cover the research costs of Horizon 2020 ERA chairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Horizon 2020 ERA NET&nbsp;support<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 enables Estonian R&amp;D institutions to cover the research costs of participating in Horizon 2020 ERA NET projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Horizon 2020 EIT&nbsp;support&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 covers the travel and staff costs of the participation of Estonian R&amp;D institutions in the work of Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Furthermore, Mobilitas Pluss supports:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li><strong>Estonia\u2019s liaison office in Brussels<\/strong>&nbsp;provides information about R&amp;D in Estonia and opportunities to participate in European Union initiatives.
