EMBL-EMBC information day in Tartu

Since June 2019, Estonia is a prospective member of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) *.
EMBL, Estonian Research Council (ETAG) and Estonian Ministry of Education and Research (HTM) will organise the EMBL-EMBC Information Days on 26 September in Tallinn and 27 September in Tartu. The information days will introduce the opportunities, services and training programs that Estonia will be able to access with EMBL membership.
In addition the event will also give an overview of EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organisation) programs funded by the EMBC (European Molecular Biology Conference). Estonia has been a member of EMBC since 2006.
Presentations by Silke Schumacher and Vladimir Benes from EMBL. Vallo Varik shares his postdoctoral experience at EMBL and in Tartu Elin Org her experience of an EMBO scholarship.
The agenda differs slightly at the venue.
Admission is free of charge, but registration is required by September 20th.

*The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is a molecular biology research institution that was created in 1974 and is an intergovernmental organisation funded by public research money from its member states. Research at EMBL is conducted by approximately 85 independent groups covering the spectrum of molecular biology.
