Info day for 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships
April 24, 13:00 - 15:00
The Estonian Research Council will organise an English-language info day on the 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships in webinar format, on 24 April, starting at 13:00. To participate in the webinar, please register via the form below; the link to the webinar will be sent to registered participants.
Both researchers who are interested in applying for the grant themselves, as well as potential supervisors who would like to bring post-docs from abroad to their teams, are welcome to participate.
The goal of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSC) Individual Fellowships, funded from the Horizon 2020 programme, is to support the career development of researcher through mobility. Researchers in possession of a PhD can apply for the fellowships to broaden and diversify their competence abroad. In most cases, the so-called mobility criterion applies: applicants must not have resided or worked in the country of the host organisation where they are applying to go for more than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to the call deadline. MSC Individual Fellowships support also reintegration of researchers in Europe after a period of mobility outside Europe, and the return to research after a career break (for example, parental leave). In these cases a more flexible mobility criterion is applied: the duration of stay in the host country must not exceed 3 years in the last 5 years.
The call for applications for the 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships was opened on 8 April, with a deadline on 9 September 2020:
