The information session on European Research Council Synergy grants

The Estonian Research Council, the Latvian Council of Science and the Research Council of Lithuania are inviting you to join the information session on European Research Council Synergy grants on March 27th, 10:00 (EEST). The aim of the event is to raise Baltic researchers’ awareness of the ERC Synergy Grants (SyG) opportunity and encourage applications.
The European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA) Synergy Grants panel co-coordinator Joan Vazquez Molina will present the overall scheme, relevant information on this grant and practical suggestions for applicants in Baltic countries and beyond. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
Synergy grant holders will share their experience: prof. Aleks Pluskowski, University of Reading, Department of Archaeology, ERC Synergy Grant project MEDGREENREV “Re-thinking the “Green Revolution” in the Medieval Western Mediterranean (6th-16th centuries).” and prof. Anna Marciniak-Czochra, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Heidelberg University, ERC Synergy Grant project PEPS: “PErPetuating Stemness: From single-cell analysis to mechanistic spatio-temporal models of neural stem cell dynamics.” will provide insights into how their teams defined the project idea, managed the preparation of their proposal, and defended their proposals during interview stage.
