Science Forum „Estonian Research 2017”

Background: Science forum „Estonian Research” is an event aimed at the researchers, research administrators and government officials for opinion and information exchange. The goal is to inform the stakeholders of the Estonian research community of and to discuss with them the most important and topical issues of the Estonian research system. The topic of the forum „Estonian Research 2016“ was research funding.
Based on the feedback of the participants of the forum 2016 and what are „hot“ international research policy debate themes, the general topic of „Estonian Research 2017“ is the societal impact of research, more precisely–how researchers could be able to describe better the impact of their research and how to convey this understanding to the wider society.
