The goal of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSC) Individual Fellowships, funded from the Horizon 2020 programme, is to support the career development of researcher through mobility. Researchers in possession of a PhD can apply for the fellowships to broaden and diversify their competence abroad. In most cases, the so-called mobility criterion applies: applicants must not have resided or worked in the country of the host organisation where they are applying to go for more than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to the call deadline. MSC Individual Fellowships support also reintegration of researchers in Europe after a period of mobility outside Europe, and the return to research after a career break (for example, parental leave). In these cases a more flexible mobility criterion is applied: the duration of stay in the host country must not exceed 3 years in the last 5 years.

The call for applications for the 2017 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships was opened on 11 April, with a deadline on 14 September 2017. The call page can be found at:

Kristin Kraav (Estonian Research Council) will describe the conditions and rules of the call, and present the application documents.
