The total available budget is approx. 40 mln NOK or approx. 3,5 mln euros and the call deadline is 28th of May.
The research area of this call is the North Atlantic, North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Aquaculture and freshwater fisheries are not in the focus of this call.
The two themes and perspectives are opened in the call:

Theme 2: Evaluation of the effects and feasibility of time-area closures as a fisheries management tool
Perspective 1: Climate change
Perspective 2: Ecosystem services
The applicant must incorporate at least one theme and one perspective into their research plan and question formulation.
The consortsium must include partners from research-performing organisations in at least three participating countries or areas, of which two are participating Nordic countries (Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland Iceland and Norway).
Estonian partner(s) in a successful project will be funded by the Estonian Research Council (ETAG). The maximum requested budget for the Estonian partner(s) participating in one project, if all Estonian partners participate as regular partners, is 150 000 euros per project. If the Project Leader/Coordinator is from an Estonian research organisation, the requested budget for the Estonian sub-project may be up to 300 000 euros.
