Decisions concerning personal research funding were approved yesterday, financing will be granted for 42 research projects with a total budget of 2 198 612 Euros.
16 start-up research grants to support researchers who wish to establish an independent research group and 26 exploratory grants to support an individual high-risk or innovative research projects will be awarded to researchers from 8 RTD institutions.
9 grants were awarded in the field ofBiosciences and Environment, 13 grants in the field of Culture and Society, 8 grants for Health and 12 grants for Natural Sciences and Engineering.
