Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership Second Call Opens in the Beginning of February

The Horizon Europe partnership Sustainable Blue Economy (SBEP) opens the second joint transnational call on 1 February.

The applicants can choose  one of the four priority areas:

(1) Digital Twins of the Oceans (DTO) at regional sub basin scale
(2) Blue economy sectors, development of marine multi-use infrastructures
(3) Planning and managing sea-uses at the regional level
(4) Blue Bioresources

Proposals can target European regional seas such as Adriatic Sea, Aegean Sea, Arctic, Barents Sea, Celtic Sea, etc. but they must be from a minimum of 2 different European Sea basins.

The second SBEP Co-funded call pools national and regional financial resources from 26 countries and the total estimated budget is about 35 Million Euros.

Estonian participants are financed by Estonian Research Council (ETAG) in the amount of 100,000 euros (standard project partner) or 300,000 euros (coordinator), the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture and the Ministry of Climate each fund 100,000 euros per project.

Deadlines:

  • Pre-proposal submission deadline 10th of April 2024 at 15:00 CET
  • Full proposal submission deadline 6th of November 2024 at 15:00 CET

More detailed conditions and documents will be published on 1st of February , when the call opens.
