Estonia’s COST anniversary conference in Tallinn on 16 May

Estonia joined COST in May 1997.

On 16 May 2022, the Estonian Research Council, together with the COST Association and the Academy of Sciences, will organise a conference to mark the 25th anniversary of Estonia’s participation in COST. The conference will take place in English at Estonian Academy of Sciences in Tallinn (Kohtu Street 6). The conference will be neither livestreamed nor recorded. A bus will be available from Tartu to the Conference venue in Tallinn and back, please book your seat through the registration form.

Please register by 9 May in the registration form below.

The conference will look back at Estonia’s participation and discuss future directions. What has been the importance of COST for Estonia, and how has it changed over time? How do COST networks contribute to collaboration between researchers and society? Could and should active participation in COST be supported better? Experts from the COST Association will introduce the workings and principles of COST and the ongoing Open Call.

Agenda:

A call to share ideas about COST and the experience of participating in COST is still open.
