ICT Horizons: Navigating Estonia’s Past and Forging Paths in Future Research

Estonian Research Council is organising a conference dedicated to Information and Communications Technology science: “ICT Horizons: Navigating Estonia’s Past and Forging Paths in Future Research”. The event will take place on 11 March in Tallinn Creative Hub (Kursi 3, Tallinn) and will be conducted in English.

The conference will address Estonia’s ICT research capabilities and needs, summarise the results of the Estonian ICT science target evaluation conducted in 2023, and present the research themes supported by the European Union co-funded thematic research and development programme “Digital solutions in all areas of life”.

The conference will feature presentations by experts and top researchers in their fields: Barbara Pernici (Professor at Politecnico di Milano), Jürgo-Sören Preden (CEO of Thinnect OÜ), Dan Bogdanov (Research Director at Cybernetica AS), Hilkka Hiiob (Dean of the Faculty of Art and Culture at the Estonian Academy of Arts) and many others.

The event will be moderated by technology expert and science journalist Marek Strandberg.

Registration is required for participation and will remain open until 6 March 2024.
