6th CASSINI Hackathon

November 3 - November 5

The Estonian Research Council is excited to be a community partner for the 6th edition of the CASSINI hackathon, which is tackling International Development & Humanitarian Aid using space data.

Europe-wide CASSINI Hackathons are a major opportunity to develop ideas for a digital application building on space data, including satellite images and positioning services.

For the 6th CASSINI Hackathon, Garage48 represents the Baltics and Nordics as a local organizer. The hackathon takes place on 3-5 November onsite in Tallinn and online. Join us for a unique opportunity to work with space data to prototype solutions for International Development & Humanitarian Aid. Registration is open until 26 October 2023!

In this edition, there are three main topic areas:
Sustainable infrastructure
Food security and access to clean water
Forced migration

The hackathon will unite UX/UI designers, data scientists, humanitarian aid workers, marine and coastal field experts, and many other to create a good quality and practical prototype together. The teams will be supported by experts from various fields.

Best teams will recieved prizes, and the very best team will move forward to the European Demo Day to compete for expert mentoring from the CASSINI team.
