Pre-screening service

The expert should register in the free-of-charge wideraexperts.eu portal and enter preferences for the pre-check service (Horizon Europe expertise area and keywords). NCP will select the most appropriate expert to perform the pre-check service, taking into account: expert’s rating, number of matching keywords and pre-screenings performed. NCP signs a contract with an expert who has agreed to perform the pre-screening. The contract includes, inter alia, confidentiality clauses.

The expert must contact the applicant and agree the details of how the pre-check service will be provided. The applicant and the expert should meet online at least once with the NCP included. After delivering the service, the expert uploads the service report and the recommendation of the proposal. The NCP must approve or reject both. In case of rejecting it, the NCP will contact the expert and determine what steps should be taken to approve the entire service.

Remuneration

Expert’s role is paid (EUR 600 gross).
