The aim of the international marketing of Estonian research is to strengthen the global visibility and reputation of Estonian science and to promote international research collaboration. Estonian Research Council implements international marketing and communication activities within the framework of the Mobilitas 3.0 programme and through the Research in Estonia initiative.
The target audiences of these activities include foreign researchers, international policymakers, research cooperation organisations, and knowledge-intensive enterprises. To reach these audiences, a range of marketing activities are carried out both in Estonia and abroad. These include providing up-to-date information on Estonia’s research system and funding opportunities via the English-language website www.researchinestonia.eu, participating in and organising international meetings and events, and developing and disseminating communication materials introducing Estonian research.
