Viable Estonia: society, language and cultural space’ is a priority area of the national Research and Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RDIE) strategy.
One of the guiding principles of the RDIE development plan is the need to make smart choices and to concentrate activities and funding on areas that, drawing on research results and through cooperation between different stakeholders, can best deliver solutions to societal challenges.
For this purpose, the development plan delineates priority areas designated for preferential state support and strategic development, including ‘Viable Estonia: society, language and cultural space’, which encompasses the domains of language, culture, education and societal processes.
