Science communication includes ensuring consistent and high-quality media coverage of research and innovation. Estonian Research Council organises and supports activities that enhance the visibility of science across various media outlets and formats, including science news as well as radio and television programmes.

Television

The Estonian Research Council supports the production of science popularisation programmes aimed at children, young people and adults. On average, each television programme reaches approximately 83,000 viewers per episode.

Radio

We also support a range of radio programmes that promote a scientific worldview and address topics related to research and innovation.

ERR Novaator

The Estonian Research Council supports the activities of ERR Novaator, thereby contributing to the publication of high-quality science news in Estonia.
