International Matchmaking and Networking Event for Horizon Europe Calls: “Apply AI & Future Technologies in Europe” | 26–27 March, Brussels

The Brussels offices of the Estonian Research Council, Bulgarian Liaison Office for Research, the Research Council of Lithuania and the Ukrainian R&D Community, together with the National Contact Points, are pleased to invite you to the Matchmaking & Networking Event “Apply AI and Future Technologies in Europe” dedicated to building strong Horizon Europe Cluster 4 consortia under the 2027 Work Programme, on 26–27 March 2026 in Brussels (lunch-to-lunch format), at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the European Union, Rue Guimard 11–13, Brussels.
The event targets stakeholders interested in the 2027 Horizon Europe calls related to artificial intelligence and future technologies. Its main objective is to bring together potential project partners and to support the formation of strong and competitive Horizon Europe consortia.
Attendance is limited to approximately 50 participants. Representatives from all EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries are welcome to apply.
The event is aimed at applicants seeking to join consortia either as project coordinators or partners.

The programme will start on the first day with an overview of the Apply AI Strategy, as well as the relevant Horizon Europe calls, including an interactive Q&A session. The core of the first day will consist of participant pitching sessions, where attendees will present their project ideas, expertise and collaboration interests. Pitching sessions will be complemented by poster presentations. The day will conclude with a networking dinner featuring an open microphone session.
The second day will begin with a National Contact Points (NCP) session, followed by World Café-style discussions, enabling in-depth thematic exchanges in smaller groups. In the afternoon, one-to-one matchmaking meetings will take place, allowing participants to engage in targeted discussions on concrete collaboration opportunities. The event will conclude with a joint lunch.
Participation is free of charge; however, participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
