Widening: Baltic region event

The Estonian and Lithuanian Research Councils invite you to participate in the European Horizon’s “Widening Participation” webinar on 17 April at 10–12 (CET) / 11–13 (Estonian time). The seminar will introduce the two calls for proposals for widening participation:
“Pathways to synergies” with a deadline of 28 September 2023, and
“Excellence Hubs” with a deadline of 7 March 2024.

Stefan Weiers (European Commission) will introduce the calls and Fabio Figurella from Malta, coordinator of the successful Excellence Hubs project “BCTHubs“, will share his experiences. Estonian and Lithuanian FP consultants will give an overview of the evaluators’ comments on the previous call.
The “Pathways to Synergies” action aims to develop synergies between the Framework Programme and the Structural Funds.
The “Excellence Hubs“ action aims to bring together innovation ecosystems to create a common cross-border R&D strategy and investment plan in line with smart specialisation and to enhance regional innovation capacity.
